A day in Paris

We headed off early into Paris as we had a bus tour booked at 10.15. We decided to drive in as its Sunday and we thought the roads wouldn't be too busy. This worked well and we were there early just as well as the bus left at 10. It was raining so we were happy to sit in the bus And view Paris from the dry comfort. It is such Beautiful city and so many wonderful sights around every corner.

The highlight was the Eiffel Tower which was spectacular. We will go back another day to climb it. We got off the bus and went and found a lovely cafe for lunch.

We then headed to the lourve and bought some souvenirs from the hawkers on the way. The queue was massive so decided to skip the lourve go and get the car and drive to the natural history museum. After refusing to pay 7 euros for a coffee at the cafe I found a Starbucks and pen and I went in. We did learn though that separating in Paris without a cell ph is not a good idea as we all struggled to meet up!

The natural history museum was amazing and the queue was quite short!

We then headed for home and got stuck in the terrible traffic. Next time we'll train in.

Tomorrow we go to Disneyland.

  1. Apparently the trick with the Louvre (if you don't have a pushcair) is to go to one of the other entrances instead of the main entrance. With a pushchair or wheelchair you can just walk past the whole line. :)
